Recycled Art Workshop and Demonstration
Tuesday 2 August. Drop in from 11.30am – 1.30pm
Repurposing and reusing old tyres in an outdoor space is not only a fantastic and efficient idea but also a sustainable way of protecting the environment, given that they can take so long to decay. This workshop will give participants the opportunity to give tyres a new life through creating a work of art and learning how it can be turned into an outdoor seat or planter for your garden!

Kokedama & Macrame Workshop
Tuesday 16 August. 11.30am – 1.30pm
Come along to this combined craft workshop to learn about and try the ancient art form of macrame as well as the Japanese craft of Kokedama!
Through learning just a few basic macrame knots, you will be set to create a key chain or small plant hanger while seeing examples of other projects that can be created out of rope.
Alongside this, you will have the opportunity to create a Kokedama to go with your pot hanger. Kokedama, known as ‘the poor man’s bonsai’ involves binding up a plant using dirt and twine to make ideal indoor hanging plants.
