In celebration of the revitalisation of our Melton Town Centre, we’re giving you the chance to win over $1400 worth of prizes in our community art competition!

To enter, simply create an artwork that speaks to the theme of ‘My Melton, My Community’. Inspiration for the theme might include depicting what the community of Melton means to you, your favourite places in the Melton Town Centre, the people that make up the Melton community, the sky is the limit!

Your artwork can be any 2D format including a painting, drawing, watercolour, collage, photography, etc.

If you do not have access to art supplies and would like to submit an artwork, the Melton Central Community Centre will be holding regular open studio hours for entrants to work on their pieces with supplies provided. You can book a free space at these studio sessions.

Finalists will be announced at the City of Melton Lifelong Learning Festival launch event in September before the winners' will have their final pieces displayed in High Street shop front windows.

Registration and entries open Monday 20 June and close Friday 19 August 2022. Finalists will be announced at the City of Melton Lifelong Learning Festival launch event taking place on Saturday September 3, 2022.
