Wanted: Taylors Hill locals to help shape community activities
Published on 30 November 2018
Do you have some great ideas and a finger on the pulse of what’s important to Taylors Hill residents?
The Taylors Hill Neighbourhood House provides opportunities for local residents to connect with others, learn new skills and contribute to their community.
To help develop the social, recreational, support and learning activities on offer throughout 2019, Council is inviting motivated community members to apply for our Community Reference Group.
City of Melton Deputy Mayor, Cr Lara Carli encouraged interested community members to apply.
“Working in collaboration with Neighbourhood House staff, you’ll be part of a team that is passionate about representing the interests of the community, and providing advice and recommendations that assist in creating a full calendar of exciting events and activities,” Cr Carli said.
To apply, simply complete an expression of interest which can be found on Council’s website melton.vic.gov.au and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org
The group meets quarterly on a Tuesday night at the Taylors Hill Neighbourhood House, 121 Calder Park Drive, Taylors Hill.
Applications close Friday 15 December.
