Never too late to learn

Melton City Council is giving residents the opportunity to learn a variety of useful skills and interesting hobbies.

Council is hosting a range of Adult Learners Week activities across the municipality to teach locals invaluable skills. They are being held in neighbourhood houses and libraries between 1-8 September.

A gold coin donation from all participants will be given to Western Chances, a charity in Melbourne’s west offering young students opportunities to follow through with their education and realise their full potential.

Lessons and workshops will range from mindfulness, beekeeping, international cooking and skills to help those hunting for their next career move.

The sessions will be held from 1- 8 September. For more information or to book, see melton.vic.gov.au/adultlearnersweek
