Published on 01 November 2018
The 2018 Djerriwarrh Festival is almost here, and the jam-packed line-up of activities promises something for everyone.
Each year, thousands of people join in this day of free family fun organised by Melton City Council.
An estimated 35,000 people will attend the activities at Melton Recreation Reserve, on 10 November.
The festivities will kick off at 11am with the annual street parade along High Street. This year’s theme is ‘All That Glitters’.
Other main attractions include the Djerriwarrh Festival bonfire, market stall village, Sustainability Lane, pet expo, an international food offering, Lion’s Club Carnival and an incredible fireworks display to cap off the day.
The huge live music line-up on the main stage will be headlined by The Superjesus, which is one of Australia’s most successful and respected rock bands.
Other acts include Pierce Brothers, Gena Rose Bruce, Bad Pony and Maddy Jane.
