Celebrating the holiday season at Carols by Candlelight

Published on 24 November 2022

Breathe in the Christmas spirit at this year’s Melton City Council Carols by Candlelight.

Everyone is invited to join in the festive cheer at the Hannah Watts Park on Saturday 3 December from 6pm.

The evening of free family entertainment will include performances from local community groups, professional choirs and an orchestra as well as much beloved children’s entertainers.

Sing along with the onstage performances of traditional and modern Christmas sing-a-longs, along with a special appearance by Santa himself!

Children can enjoy face painting and Christmas craft activities and can even send a letter to the North Pole with their wishes for Christmas with help from Santa’s helpers.

Residents are encouraged to bring a picnic blanket and something to eat. There will also be a range of food trucks on site and the Melton Valley Rotary Club will be hosting a sausage sizzle.

In the event of severe weather, Carols by Candlelight will be cancelled. Notification of any cancellation will be posted on Council’s website and Facebook page the morning of the event.
