Media Release - 4 November 2009

Melton Shire Council has recently undertaken a review of its Occasional Care Program in response to the high demand for this important service by the community.

The Mayor of Melton Shire Council, Cr Renata Cugliari said that as an outcome of this review, Melton Shire Council has dedicated additional funding to enable the service to grow from providing nine sessions per week to 14 sessions per week.

“Council continues to provide a range of children’s services and infrastructure to our fast growing community”, continued Cr Cugliari.
