News>“Access for All” Star Business 2010
| MEDIA RELEASE - 4 November 2009 | | The Greater Melton Chamber of Commerce supported by Melton Shire Council invite businesses in the Shire of Melton to nominate their business in having good access to all.
Cr Renata Cugliari, Mayor of Melton Shire Council said that “Access for All” Star Business had been developed to promote access for all to the business community and to highlight businesses that demonstrate excellence in customer service and access.
“Businesses that provide good access to their business will make their customers shopping experience more enjoyable and by making access improvements will increase patronage to their business,” continued the Mayor.
This initiative recognises businesses within the Shire of Melton that are judged to be an “Access for All” Star Business by presenting them with an “Access for All” Star Business sticker for display at their business entry, and a certificate to display in their premises.
Businesses will be required to submit a nomination form on an annual basis to maintain their Star status and successful businesses will be recognised at the annual Melton Business Excellence Awards in April 2010.
“Access for All” Star Business nominations close on Monday 30 November and nomination forms and guidelines are available on the Greater Melton Chamber of Commerce website www.greatermeltonchamber.org.au or on Council's MetroAccess webpage
