Bins must be out before 6am on the day of collection and removed within 24 hours of being serviced. Council may issue fines to residents who repeatedly leave bins beyond their property boundaries on days other than their scheduled collection.
Your Bins
New residents
Please apply for bins to be delivered to your home. Bins will only be delivered once your home is occupied. Note that the property must be clearly identified with a lot number or a house number.
If you order your bins part way through the year you will pay a pro rata fee.
Bins will be delivered by the contractor on the next delivery day after your payment has been processed. To order additional bins, please contact Council's Customer Service on 9747 7200.
Tenants
Bins can only be ordered by the owner of a property. If you are a tenant, please contact the owner or managing agent of the property to arrange for new bins, additional bins or changes to the bin choices, such as size (see Bin Options).

We can take your details over the phone and notify you of the amount you need to pay. If you prefer, we can fax or post a copy of the Bin Requisition form so you can submit it by post or at one of Council's civic centres during business hours.
Bin Repairs / Stolen Bins

- an additional bin costs $116.00 including GST
- customised arrangements may be available for families of six or more members or those with special needs
- the cost of downgrading your bin service (to smaller bins) is $40.00

Bin deliveries, repairs/replacements, upgrades/downgrades
These are done Monday to Friday (except public holidays). Please leave bins where they will be easily accessible for the driver, and preferably in the front yard.
