Apply for a grant

Melton City Council's Community Grants Program has been refreshed with large grant rounds open on a regular basis throughout the year.

Council recognises the contributions of community groups, clubs and organisations in making our City a thriving community where everyone belongs. At times, these groups seek financial support from Council to enable a better response to local needs. Council’s new Community Grants Program provides opportunities for community organisations to apply for funding to support them to establish themselves and lead projects and initiatives that benefit the City’s community.

You can apply for grants online. Make sure you read the grant program guidelines(PDF, 367KB) and grant application help guide(PDF, 1MB) before applying. You can also contact Council’s Community Capacity team to discuss your application.

Please refer to the Community Groups training calendar for upcoming grant writing workshops and other useful training available to groups.
