What is Road 2 Zero?
The Road 2 Zero Road Safety Strategy builds on Council’s previous strategy and links with Victoria's 'arrive alive 2008-2017.' It outlines ways that we can work together to change attitudes and behaviours to improve road safety and active transport in our community.

Council’s aim is to have a greater than 30% reduction of serious and fatal road crashes (and to reduce the severity of serious injury crashes) by 2018.
 
Why is Road 2 Zero important?
As a community we can reduce serious injuries from road crashes and spare many families the grief of suffering the loss or serious injury of a loved one on our roads.
 
What is Active Transport?
Council encourages residents to walk, ride a bike, or use public transportation instead of using their cars whenever possible. We support Walking School Bus programs as well as...
