Working toward a safer city

Published on 12 April 2018

City of Melton residents are being encouraged to join in Safer City Day activities at CS Square, Caroline Springs, on 21 April.

Safer City Day aims to promote community safety, and will provide helpful tips on how to keep your neighbourhood, family, home and car safe.

Activities on the day will include free child car seat restraint checks and fittings, operation safe plate (fitting special anti-theft screws to number plates), free children’s activities, including a jumping castle, animal farm and face painting, and a free BBQ.

Members from various partner organisations including Victoria Police, CFA, SES and Djerriwarrh Health Services will be available at the event for questions and advice.
